Elijah Wood is selling the home he bought from actor
Dylan McDermott.
Wood has placed the Santa Monica, California property he bought in 1999 on the market for $US1.85 million ($A1.79 million).
The Spanish-style home was built in 1924 and comes with a guesthouse, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Due to the ongoing housing crisis, Wood won't be making much of a profit from the sale - records, obtained by the Los Angeles Times newspaper, show he bought the home for $US1.45 million 12 years ago.
