A game based on the 1987
Patrick Swayze-Jennifer Grey movie classic
Dirty Dancing has gone live on Facebook.
We're undecided about whether it's the cutest movie-themed Facebook app or pure tosh Just Because...
Fans can "drop romance waves to spread love", choreograph dance routines, buy watermelons, organise activities and more at Kellerman's, the Catskill Mountains resort in New York State (which is really named Mountain Lake in Virginia).
Players can even choose songs from the famous soundtrack, including The Time of My Life and Hungry Eyes.
Here's what some of the 11 million Dirty Dancing Facebook fans have to say about the app:
"This is the THIRD, wretched, flaming advertisement for a dumb FB game that is clogging up my wall. Enough okay!" one user said.
"I lived at the real hotel for four years, it's funny to see it as a cartoon," said another.
Others have complained about loading errors, the 1980s-style animation (which we think is totally cute) and the overall pointlessness of the game. Since when did a Facebook app ever need to have a point?
