It's probably about time
Nicolas Cage got something back from the comic book world - given he's committed career suicide via many of their film adaptations.
Cage's near-pristine copy of Action Comics No.1 is for sale on comic book collection website, comicconnect.com, and is on pace to sell for a whopping TWO MILLION DOLLARS!!, says Perezhilton.com.
The comic, which was originally stolen from Cage back in 2000 and recovered April 2011, is from 1938 and features the first ever appearance of Superman.
Bidding for the comic is currently just shy of one million dollars, which will already make it the most expensive comic book sold on the open market.
But with the auction ending November 30, it's believed a last minute flurry from wealthy geeks will see the prize reach a ridiculous two million dollars.
Sorry, but Superman debut or not, we got to ask who the hell pays two million dollars for a freakin' comic book??!
…maybe this guy?
Here's to that!
