Russell Brand has moved a homeless man to tears by giving him $600.
Reports have surfaced that Brand, 36, was in Los Angeles with his new girlfriend, Hungarian model Nikolett Barabas, when he gave out the cash, the Daily Star reported.
A friend of the star told the tabloid the comedian "met a homeless guy" on Hollywood Boulevard, just around the corner from the home he shared with ex-wife Katy Perry.
The source said "Russ" was with his new girlfriend and they struck up a conversation with the man.
"After chatting for a few minutes he decided he wanted to get a roof over his head for a few nights. So he went over the road and withdrew 600 dollars for him. When Russell handed over the wad of cash, the fella had tears in his eyes."
The star made headlines earlier this month after he was arrested for criminal damage for grabbing a photographer’s iPhone and throwing it through a window.
