Simon Cowell has apologised to anyone who has been offended by the controversial tell-all book on his life that has been recently released.
The book title ‘Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell’ is not an official account of the X Factor boss’s life; it is an unauthorised biography commissioned by the Sun newspaper.
The book has garnered plenty of publicity since its release due to revelations of his affair with fellow X Factor judge Danni Minogue.
“I wish to publicly apologise to anyone I embarrassed,” Cowell said today.
“Ten years ago if I had read someone would be writing a book about me saying I made loads of money and shagged loads of girls I would have said, ‘Great!’”
The media mogul admits its been a rough week since the book’s launch.
“I spent the week hiding under a pillow and I couldn’t bear to look at The Sun. I knew it was bad because friends were sending me sweet messages saying, ‘Are you OK?’”
