Will.i.am has been blasted by producers on the UK version of The Voice after he was spotted fiddling with his mobile phone during a live broadcast.
The Black Eyed Peas star, who is a coach on the show, was seen staring down at his phone while the three other judges gave their full attention to the contestants performing on stage.
Producers are said to have "screamed" into his earpiece demanding that he put the phone away, but he ignored their advice.
According to the Daily Star, the 37-year-old was later given a blasting by the program's floor manager, who called him "unprofessional, rude and disrespectful".
Just tweeting my fans!
But Will insists he wasn't being antisocial, he was writing to fans of the show on Twitter.
"Thank you everyone who watched #thevoiceuk tonight," he later tweeted. "If you saw me on my phone I wasn't being rude. I was connecting to people watching."
Er, couldn't he have waited until the ad break?
The musician has also come under fire recently for neglecting his team on the show. Last week he put in just 30 minutes with his acts before jetting to the US. But he says he prefers to guide his performers by "chatting" with them rather than actually helping them rehearse.
Hmm, he sounds like a bit of a deadbeat coach to us!
