Acclaimed US rock band the Smashing Pumpkins are set to play a one-off gig in Auckland later this year as part of their Australasian tour.
The Chicago outfit, who has sold more than 30 million albums, will take in shows in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne before heading to New Zealand for their final show.
The group’s seventh studio album, titled “Oceania”, is set to be released on June 22.
The Billy Corgin-led band will play the Vector Arena in Auckland on August 4. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and will go on general sale at 9am on Wednesday, May 9.
