Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's 18-month-old Faith Margaret has posed in a candid moment with mum for her first magazine cover on Harper's Bazaar Australia's June/July issue.
But the photo was not a planned cover shot it was destined only for the family album.
The shoot, taken at a country property out of Sydney, was meant to be all about Nicole showcasing the latest fashions. Her two girls, Faith and three-year-old Sunday Rose, arrived on the set later in the day after their naps.
"Kidman didn't want to put them down," Harper's Bazaar editor Edwina McCann said. "Sunday Rose donned one of the tuxedo jackets from the clothing racks because it was getting chilly. The photographer then took some shots of Kidman with the girls solely for her family album."
But they were too good not to share, and Nicole eventually agreed the photos could be used for the magazine.
"I think it's OK, because you can't see their faces; they're still protected," Nicole said.
"I feel it's a really lovely way to celebrate being a mum and being a family, and they're my daughters, and they're Keith's daughters [laughs] … you can see the hair!''
