Russell Brand has reportedly reached out to estranged wife
Katy Perry after seemingly becoming jealous of her new relationship with Florence and the Machine member Robert Ackroyd.
Brand filed for divorce from the pop star in December last year citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the break-up, but it now appears that the British comedian has had a change of heart.
“Word has it Russell was "seething with jealousy" when he saw pictures of her (Perry) with Rob. He apparently feels he gave up on their relationship too easily,” a source told Grazia magazine.
Brand allegedly sent Perry an “emotional” email stating that he felt their divorce was rushed and was ultimately a mistake.
“It's fair to say that Russell only wishes Katy happiness,” the source continued. “Perhaps he should have realised just how special his wife was when he was married to her rather than five months later.”
