Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones actor Sean Bean has been arrested over allegations he wrote abusive text messages to his ex-wife and harassed her with phone calls.
The actor, 53, is now out on bail after he allegedly harassed Georgina Sutcliffe, 34, his fourth and most recent wife.
He turned himself in to a London police station to be fingerprinted and interviewed on Wednesday.
"A 53-year-old man attended a London police station for a prearranged interview," a Scotland Yard spokesman said.
"He was arrested on suspicion of harassment."
Bean had a tumultuous two-year marriage with Sutcliffe, who is also an actor.
He was arrested five months into their marriage on suspicion of domestic violence, but no charges were laid.
Last year Bean was stabbed in the arm outside a pub following an argument over glamour model April Summers.
Bean featured prominently as Boromir in the first Lord of the Rings movie as well as villain Alec Trevelyan in the James Bond film Goldeneye.
He has recently found himself the subject of mockery online because his character dies in nearly every movie he is in.
