Kyle Sandilands has been rushed to hospital after suffering a health scare.
The 2DayFM shock jock had been scheduled to take part in a charity kissing booth stunt in Sydney today but organisers were forced to cancel because of his illness.
What caused the health scare is not known, but a statement on 2DayFM's Facebook page said the presenter was not in danger.
"Unfortunately Kyle's had to go to hospital with a bit of a health scare, but he's ok," the statement read.
Sandilands' manager is yet to return ninemsn's calls for comment.
Station owner Southern Cross Austero has apologised for the cancelling the kissing booth, which was to raise money for the McGrath Foundation, but said it would be rescheduled.
While some listeners were quick to express sympathy for Sandilands, it did not take long before others suggested ulterior motives for his hospital admission.
"Me think ol' Kyle got a wee bit scared of kissing lots of chicky babes 2day! Get better soon Kyle & pucker up baby!" listener Kellie Roche posted on Facebook.
"He was scared and had a panic attack that not many would show up to get a kiss lol," another post by Suzanne Benson read.
