The Gold Logie-winning comedian popped up alongside bubbly blonde Nancy O'Dell as co-host of the world's most-watched celebrity gossip show Entertainment Tonight yesterday.
Rove tweeted his excitement before the show aired: "Hands up who likes randomness? You? Good? I'll be co-hosting Entertainment Tonight tonight. Random enough for ya?"
Now based in Los Angeles where he films his FOX8 show Rove LA, the 38-year-old filled in for Mark Steines, who left ET after 17 years in March.
We've love to see Rove get a permanent gig on ET, but rumour has it X Factor USA host Steve Jones is a frontrunner for the job.
Rove is known to US audiences through regular stints on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Chelsea Lately.
