Weatherman Tamati Coffey is the new co-host of the Saturday version of TVNZ's morning current affairs show Breakfast.
Coffey, who presents the weather on the weekday version of the show, will replace Rawdon Christie to host the program alongside Toni Street from this Saturday. He will continue presenting the weather during the week.
Christie has moved to hosting the weekday version of the show.
"Tamati is a talented presenter, and his popularity with viewers is evident in the feedback we receive," editor of daily programs John Gillespie said.
Earlier this month Christie took over the role of co-hosting the weekday version of the show - alongside Petra Bagust - from Corin Dann who is now TVNZ's political editor.
