An all-female Auckland dance crew is set to take the stage with superstar Jennifer Lopez in this week's final episode of talent show American Idol.
ReQuest took out the top spot for the under-19 division at the World Hip Hop Dance Championships in Las Vegas in 2009. The following year they were placed first in the adult division.
The group of eight, who are based at the Palace Dance Studio in Penrose, announced on their Facebook page that they will be performing with American Idol judge and singer Lopez, known as J-Lo, on Wednesday.
Their performance will be aired on New Zealand television on Friday evening.
The group featured on television show America's Best Dance Crew - a dance version of American Idol - in 2010.
