A truck driver who was involved in a crash with Lindsay Lohan has accused the star's entourage of trying to bribe him to keep quiet as she tried to flee the scene in California.
Lohan was on her way to the set of the Lifetime biopic on Elizabeth Taylor in a rented black Porsche when the car hit the back of the truck on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica before lunchtime on June 9.
The driver of the truck, who identified himself as James, told TMZ Lohan was driving with her assistant who tried to offer him money and then pressured him to keep quiet about the crash.
The truck driver said he also saw Lohan's assistant put something into a bag and cover it with clothes before getting into an Escalade to leave.
Both Lohan and her assistant were treated in hospital and released.
Santa Monica Police said they were investigating the incident and trying to determine who was driving at the time of the crash.
Lohan has had numerous brushes with the law, and is still on probation after stealing a necklace and twice being caught drunk driving.
