Seems we weren't the only ones surprised by the whirlwind wedding of Agyness Deyn to Giovanni Ribisi.
His long-time ex-girlfriend Cat Power, aka musician Chan Marshall, has revealed that she and the Friends actor broke up only two months ago.
"It wasn't really out of left-field, but it kinda was," Power told music blog The Stool Pigeon of the breakup which happened around the time she was finishing her latest album in April.
"The timing couldn't have been more distracting, to say the least. It was down to the wire and [I was] really suffering, in the end. It hurts," she continued.
Power and Ribisi had been dating for two years, and living in Los Angeles together with Ribisi's 14-year-old daughter from a previous marriage, Lucia. Model-turned-actress Agyness had previously been engaged to The Strokes' guitarist Albert Louis Hammond Jr in 2009. The couple split after a four-year relationship and Agy had reportedly been single since.
Where or how Agy and Giovanni met is still a mystery but it could have been as little as only six weeks ago.
Maybe the love struck pair first crossed paths in Los Angeles where Agy has been pursuing an acting career?
