Acclaimed American singer-songwriter Ben Harper is set to play two intimate shows in New Zealand this November.

Harper will play the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington on Saturday, November 3, and will follow up with a show at Auckland’s ASB theatre on Monday, November 5.

The two-time Grammy award winning artist will be performing his first-ever acoustic headline show titled ‘An evening with Ben Harper’.

The California-born singer is an avid live performer and has a fan base spanning several continents.

Whether it’s through the soul of southern Gospel, 70s funk, blues, reggae, or straightforward rock and roll, Harper and his trademark Weissenborn guitar continue to stun audiences with incendiary live performances and timeless songwriting.

In a career spanning 18 years, Harper has recorded 10 studio albums including the critically acclaimed 1995 release ‘Fight For Your Mind’.

Tickets for ‘An Evening With Ben Harper’ go on sale from 9am Wednesday July 11, with pre-sales commencing Friday July 6. Further details available at www.livenation.com.au.
