Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese has been fined $US106 ($NZ132) for failing to use the sidewalk.
The 25-year-old reality TV personality was arrested on June 10 in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, after officers said she was dancing in a roadway and interfering with traffic.
But Cortese pleaded not guilty to the charge and instead pleaded guilty to the lesser offence of not using a sidewalk when one was provided, according to media reports.
The pint-sized star also had to pay $US33 ($NZ41) in court costs.
She apologised to Municipal Court Judge Dan Sahin, saying "I'm sorry if I caused any trouble", who warned her about wasting police time.
"Ms Cortese, please keep in mind you're taking police officers away from a job they have to do," he said in court.
"The officers here are not the New York City Police Department; we're not 1000-strong. They've got a tough job to do."
It's at least the third legal run-in that a Jersey Shore cast member has had since the show began filming in Seaside Heights in 2009.
Co-star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi pleaded guilty to disturbing other beachgoers in 2010 after being arrested while intoxicated and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was shown in an episode from the show’s first season that generated an assault charge.
The cast is nearing the end of its sixth season of filming in and around Seaside Heights.
