Plenty of punches were thrown and it came down to a unanimous decision by the judges to pick the winner of the hotly anticipated "battle of the babes" boxing match between socialite Jaime Ridge and reality television star Rosanna Arkle.
Ridge, the daughter of former All Blacks and Kiwis player Matthew Ridge and interior designer Sally Ridge, was victorious on points over Arkle, one of the stars of reality show The GC.
Ridge, who had a 7kg weight advantage over her opponent, had Arkle up against the ropes a number of times during the three-round fight, at an event in Auckland on Thursday night.

Undeterred by some good hits to the head, Arkle, who had to have her belly button piercing taped up before the fight, kept at Ridge, forcing her to keep up her defence and move around the ring.
Arkle's co-stars, some wearing "Team Rosie" t-shirts, were cheering for her ringside, while Ridge had support from her coach, former league star Monty Beetham, and her mother and brother.
Ridge, a part-time university student and model, said the fight was harder than she expected, while Arkle admitted she under-estimated Ridge.
Arkle said she was "puffed" at the fight's end, but "ready to party".
The fight had attracted some controversy, with top boxing trainers and officials saying the celebrity match-up made a mockery of the sport.
Arkle had also attracted attention for deciding to wear a bikini for the bout.
Meanwhile, former New Zealand cricket player Jesse Ryder defeated sports radio talkback host Mark Watson in a technical knockout in the first round.
Ryder dominated and had Watson against the ropes early.
"At least he came out and got in the ring with me," Ryder said.
