Britney Spears stormed off the set of the US
X-Factor show yesterday after becoming annoyed with a contestant who was impersonating her.
The award-winning singer, who is a judge on the hit-show this year, was none too impressed with the male contestant who dressed in drag and performed a version of her 1999 hit 'You Drive me Crazy', and left the set.
The contestant was heavily criticised by fellow judge Simon Cowell, who said the performance did not “have a note in tune”.
Spears eventually returned to the set but was not keen to put the flamboyant contestant through to the next round.
"I really respect the tribute,” she said.
“It was really nice, but I just don't feel like it's for X-Factor. Sorry, sweetie."
