Actress Kristin Chenoweth had to be taken to a New York hospital after a piece of scaffolding hit her head on the set of the US drama The Good Wife.
The 43-year-old was injured on Wednesday afternoon when a gust of wind knocked a piece of lighting equipment off the scaffold, causing her to hit her head on the concrete as she fell, TMZ reports.
A witness said Chenoweth appeared to be "knocked out cold".
"I thought she was dead at first," the witness said.
The actress, who has also starred in The West Wing and Glee, was taken to a local hospital by an ambulance that was on set.
She was carried into the ambulance on a stretcher with her neck in a brace.
A New York Fire Department source said she was being treated for "minor injuries".
It's not the first time Chenoweth has been injured on set.
Last year she hurt her back after tumbling down a flight of concrete stairs on the set of TV program Glee.
In 2006 Chenoweth was injured when she fell off an elevated section of stage during a rehearsal for Broadway musical The Apple Tree.
