Robert Pattinson has reportedly moved out of the home he shared with Kristen Stewart in Los Angeles a day after she apologised for cheating on him with a married movie director.
A source told People magazine Pattinson, who met Stewart when they starred together in the hugely popular Twilight trilogy, had packed his bags and was not in contact with her.
The source said Pattinson was "heartbroken and angry".
"I'm not sure they'll be able to recover from this," the source said.
Stewart, 22, issued a public apology to her boyfriend of three years yesterday after US Weekly published photos of her kissing Rupert Sanders, 41, who directed her latest film, Snow White and The Huntsman.
In her statement, Stewart said "this momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob."
Sanders, who has two children with British model wife Liberty Ross, also issued an apology.
