The Voice US judge Christina Aguilera has finally opened up about former rival Britney Spears becoming a judge on the US incarnation of The X Factor.
Christina, who's almost as famous for her rivalry with Britney as she is for her voice, had nothing but kind words to say about the recently appointed talent show judge.
Speaking to Extra, she said, "Britney's so talented... She's a pro."
The pair grew up together on The Mickey Mouse Club before being famously pitted against each other in their teens as they launched their recording careers.
Christina will also face-off against another popstar-turned-reality-competition-judge: her idol, Mariah Carey, who replaces Jennifer Lopez on American Idol in a deal said to be worth US$18 million.
"It's actually cool that these strong women are joining the club and they're gonna have fun," Christina said.
