Infamous actor, comedian and lothario Russell Brand is coming to New Zealand for a one-off stand-up show later this year.
The British funnyman, who was embroiled in a high-profile divorce from Katy Perry earlier this year, is bringing his stand-up show to Auckland’s Vector Arena on November 28th.
Brand shot to prominence in the early 2000s as a widely-respected comedian and fronted many popular British comedy shows, but the 37-year-old became internationally famous when he played the role of Aldous Snow in the 2008 Jude Apatow-directed Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Brand went on to star in several other Hollywood movies including Get Him To The Greek, Arthur and, most recently, Rock of Ages.
He has penned two memoires, which chart his battles with drug addiction, promiscuity and offbeat lifestyle - including My Booky Wook.
Tickets for Brand's Auckland show are on sale on Tuesday, September 25.
