This kind of blooper seems to be rife in the celebrity community, though
Alison Pill, who plays Maggie Jordan on the US sitcom The Newsroom, posted a racy photo of herself on Twitter yesterday lounging on her bed dressed only in a pair of librarian glasses.
The shot was deleted quick-smart, but not before a few hundred people saw it.
Realising her mistake, the 26-year-old tweeted, "Yep. That picture happened. Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet... Apologies."
Other stars to have mistakenly posted their own nude photos online include Tori Spelling and AnnaLynne McCord.
