Hamilton-born singer Kimbra has been nominated for a Grammy for her duet with Melbourne singer-songwriter Gotye and their song Somebody That I Used To Know.
The pair are up against the Black Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Frank Ocean and Taylor Swift for record of the year, it was announced on Thursday.
The Grammy winners will be announced on February 10 in the United States.
Last month, Gotye - aka Wally de Backer - won the Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards (ARIA) best male artist award for the second year in a row.
Kimbra also reclaimed her title as best female artist for a second year.
