Seven Sharp presenter Ali Mau has used Twitter to express her disgust with a local women’s magazine’s decision to print photos of her and her partner.
Woman’s Day printed snaps of Mau and Karleen Edmonds kissing and cuddling at a concert in Auckland.
The two-page magazine spread prompted the TVNZ presenter to tweet to the magazine’s editor, Sido Kitchen, “Hope you feeling really creepy right now, Sido – you should be.”
Edmonds also tweeted about the images, saying: "I don't work for TVNZ so I can say what I like. @womansdaynz you are a bunch of fxxxwits."
A few other Twitter followers weighed in on the debate with Lazydog@Lazydog_NZ saying, “So there is wild weather over most of NZ, yet @NZStuff 's main story is about @Alisonmau kissing her girlfriend @ a concert... #WTF”
It’s not the first time Mau has taken to Twitter to vent her frustration with women’s magazines intruding on her personal life.
Last year she used the social networking site to deny that she and Edmonds had sold their engagement story to any of the local publications.
