Daniel Johns spotted pashing a dude?

Dan split from his girlfriend of four years some time ago, but the news only got out this week. And it seems he's making the most of the single life now.

The muso was spotted getting "very, very cosy" with a brown haired bloke on Saturday night at Marquee in Sydney.

"They were pretty much all over each other," a witness told the Telegraph. "At one point their faces were right next to each other, and I couldn't make out whether they were talking or kissing. It was too dark."

The Telegraph identified the man as Simon Hancock, the nightclub's promoter.

When a journo from the paper contacted Hancock for a comment, he responded, "We're mates. That's it." Daniel's management didn't respond at all.

The 33-year-old has also been spotted partying around Sydney with a number of skinny, model-like women resembling his ex-girlfriend.

This isn't the first time Daniel has faced rumours about his sexuality. In 2008, after splitting from wife Natalie Imbruglia, he was linked to friend and fellow artist Paul Mac.

Paul later commented that the rumours were "bulls--t" and "distressing".

"Your best friend's going through a really tough time and there's all these bulls--t stories in magazines that don't take into account the feelings of either person," Paul said in a 2008 Fairfax interview.
