Justin Timberlake talks *N Sync days, ' I ended up looking like a moron'

Justin Timberlake may be a stylish male icon these days, but felt he looked less than dapper whilst in the 90's boy band *N Sync.

The singer turned actor said that he's regretted the daggy outfits and frosted hair of his youth.

"There were many moments in my teenage years where I succumbed to, um, the weirdness of the group I was in," he told Details.com.

"In trying to conform — we're marionettes! I ended up looking like a moron."

So harsh on yourself, Justin.

He also spoke about a pet peeve he has with guys and their use of hair gel.

"I don't like when I see guys do too much hair gel," he said.

"When you use enough hair gel that your hair becomes a sculpture ... It's just weird."

Glad he's learned from his own mistakes.
