Rihanna's preacher warns: She could end up dead like Whitney Houston

Rihanna has been given a dire warning from her family preacher who disapproves of her hard-partying lifestyle and bad-girl image.

"She's going the wrong way," Bishop Vibert Lowe told Now magazine. "When I saw the hospital picture I was so disturbed."

RiRi recently tweeted a picture of herself in hospital hooked up to an IV drip for what was apparently a bad case of the flu, but rumoured to be a hard case of partying.

The 64-year-old preacher is concerned that the 24-year-old star will end up dead like Whitney Houston if she doesn't clean up her act.

"She's drunk a lot, she's smoking a lot ... It's really bad behaviour and she's getting worse. She could head down the same route as Whitney Houston. She promotes a bad girl image and that's not responsible to her fans."

Just this week, Rihanna missed her flight from London to the US after partying too hard with Jay-Z and Kanye West. The 'Where Have You Been' singer has been snapped having a night on the town on a number of recent occasions, including this very suspicious image involving a substance on her bodyguard's head.

A few months ago, her preacher urged her Barbadian community to pray for her to drop her bad-girl behaviour and steer clear of ex Chris Brown.
