Listen: Madonna mashes up 'Express Yourself' with Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' for upcoming tour

Madonna will be performing a mash-up of her own 'Express Yourself' with Lady Gaga’s song 'Born This Way' in her upcoming MDNA tour.

Many reviewers and fans believe Gaga’s 'Born This Way' is a rip-off of the anthemic Madonna track 'Express Yourself', thanks to harmonic and thematic similarities between the two tracks.

Madonna has even (somewhat sarcastically) praised Lady Gaga, saying that it’s "flattering" that she draws inspiration from her own body of work.

When it came to 'Born This Way', Madonna was rather ambivalent. "When I heard it on the radio, I said 'that sounds very familiar'," she told Cynthia McFadden on 20/20. "It feels reductive."

On the accusations of plagiarism, Gaga was slightly more definitive in her opinions.

"That's retarded. If you put the songs next to each other, side by side, the only similarities is the chord progression," Mother Monster told Oh No They Didn’t.

"It's the same one that's been in disco music for the last 50 years. Just because I'm the first f--king artist in 25 years to thinking of putting it on Top 40 radio, it doesn’t mean I'm a plagiarist, it means I’m f--king smart. Sorry."

I understand about the similarites but leave gaga alone i dont like madonna i think shes mean and rude and needs to get off her high horse,but i cannot see a world without her her music fashion all her work changed this world but gaga rains
