Miley Cyrus' LOL co-star: Sex scenes were 'incredibly awkward'

Miley Cyrus recently revealed her unusual preparation for her first on-screen sex scene in coming-of-age comedy-drama LOL. Now, her hunky leading man Douglas Booth has weighed in on being the ex-Disney star's "first time" on film.

"We actually filmed the sex scenes on the first day, so it was incredibly awkward," he told the UK's Telegraph.

The dreamy Great Expectations star and ex-Burberry model didn't listen to Miley's music to get in the mood for the scene.

"It's not the kind of music I would listen to, but I know that it is very popular," he said.

That's very diplomatic of the young Englishman, isn't it? Here we were thinking 'Can't Be Tamed' was a bedroom anthem.

But, Douglas is still quite fond of 19-year-old Miley, even if he's no challenge for her steady boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

"Miley is great, she's in a completely different stratosphere from me, and moves in completely different circles," he said.

Miley has called Douglas "like, one of the coolest dudes ever".

LOL, which co-stars Demi Moore and Twilight's Ashley Greene, has no Australian release date yet. It may well end up in the straight-to-DVD bargain bin after the film tanked big time in the US.

Its average user rating on global film site IMDB.com is 1.7 out of 10, based on 5633 user votes.
