What if The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson got the part of The Amazing Spider-Man instead of Andrew Garfield? Wonder no more, here's the 19-year-old's audition tape.

Die-hard Spidey fans will have already seen the video a while back, but it's finally gone mainstream with the hype surrounding the successful web-slinging superhero reboot.

Filmed in 2010 before Josh was cast as Peeta in The Hunger Games, the video shows a pimply Josh trying out to play social outcast Peter Parker in an impressive fight scene with schoolyard bullies.

He swings around like a pro, even doing the famous Spider-Man "ready to pounce" squat.

It's probably a good thing he lost the part to 28-year-old Andrew Garfield. He might not have ended up in the HG franchise, which will pay him handsomely given there will be not two, but three Hunger Games sequels.
