Penelope Kardashian is barely two weeks old but grandma Kris Jenner is already trying to cash in on her celebrity status.

Kourtney Kardashian is reportedly blowing smoke out her nostrils after discovering her mother was taking photos of the newborn with the intention of selling them off to magazines.

"Kourtney was already getting annoyed during the pregnancy because her mum talked nonstop about branding girly things for the baby. And since the birth Kris has stepped it up with her money making ideas," a source told Radar Online.

Kourt's alleged bad-boy partner Scott Disick has also had his say, reportedly telling Kris to "back off" when she suggested taking photos of the bub during birth.

"Scott drew the line there, he said absolutely not!" revealed the source.

"[They] have told Kris to step away, their baby is not some money making tool."

The couple have reportedly set up a magazine deal to run the first pics of little Penelope, but according to the source, that's where the bub's cash-collecting potential will end for the time being.

"[After the magazine pictures] they want a little privacy for her," said the source.
