Shia LaBeouf 'terrified' about doing sex scenes 'for real' in new explicit movie

Is Shia LaBeouf feeling shy about showing himself in the buff?

The Transformers actor has confessed the sex scenes he must do for arthouse Melancholia director Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac will be "for real".

"[Von Trier] is very dangerous. He's the most dangerous dude that I've ever showed up for. I'm terrified. I'm so terrified, which is why I have to go. We'll see what happens," the 26-year-old actor told MTV.

"[The movie] is what you think it is. It is Lars von Trier, making a movie about what he's making. For instance, there's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real.

"Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening."

The film follows "a woman's erotic journey from birth to the age of 50 as told by the main character, the self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, Joe [Charlotte Gainsbourg]", according to the synopsis.

It will be released in two versions: one with hardcore sex, the other watered-down for mainstream audiences.

Controversy is never far away from the Danish director, who was banned from the 2011 Cannes Film Festival for saying he's "a Nazi".

Nevertheless, Von Trier's former leading ladies Nicole Kidman (Dogville) and Charlotte Gainsbourg (Antichrist, Melancholia) are back for more provocative perils in Nymphomaniac.

Let's remember that Nicole is up for anything, after recently admitting she urinated on Zac Efron "for real" for erotic thriller The Paperboy.

But Shia won't be too camera-shy when it comes time to drop the clothes — he recently went full frontal for a Sigur Ròs music video. Watch below, if you dare ...
