Brown in court over Rihanna assault

Chris Brown
Chris Brown is due to return to court over the assault three years ago on his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

This time he is to face allegations about how much – or how little - community service he served.

The singer has been summoned for a probation review in Los Angeles and will also face questions about his community service after a prosecutor "raised concerns", The AP reports.

Brown was sentenced to 180 days of community service after the attack.

It included the removal of graffiti, roadside clean-up and other manual labour.

Although he completed the work with praise from a judge, an audit was ordered back in July.

Brown was forced to defend a recent tattoo when his Mexican 'sugar skull' was speculated to resemble Rihanna's beaten face.
