First pics: Scarlett Johansson as Psycho actress Janet Leigh in Hitchcock

Scarlett Johansson has big shoes to fill in the upcoming Alfred Hitchcock biopic Hitchcock — and it looks like she has no problem filling them.

In a new production still released to promote the flick, we see Scarlett channelling Psycho's leading lady Janet Leigh, and the resemblance is uncanny.

"When we took that still of Scarlett behind the wheel and put it up against the still of Janet behind the wheel in Psycho, it was eerie," said Hitchcock director Sacha Gervasi.

"The extent to which Scarlett was able to channel Janet [was] a real surprise. She brought it in such a way that no one really anticipated."

Hitchcock recounts how the famous director (Anthony Hopkins) and his wife Alma Reville (Helen Mirren) made the black-and-white thriller.
