Russell Brand helps homeless man

Russell Brand is getting into the Thanksgiving spirit early. The actor and comedian stopped to help a homeless man, after cars sent his belongings spilling out across the pavement. Russell, in a moment of charity, pulled over and cleaned up the mess.

A video, filmed by an onlooker and uploaded to YouTube, captures the moment: "I noticed a homeless man spill his shopping cart of recyclables. Cars carelessly ran over the bottles without regard.

"Not Russell Brand, he pulled his SUV in the line of traffic got out, put his sandals on, then began helping him load up his cart and clean up the street."

The actor's goodwiil inspired other drivers to pull over and help tidy up. As the final pieces were collected, the video shows Rusty giving the man a friendly pat on the shoulder before bouncing back into his SUV.

Russell Brand earns a gold star in our books. As the original poster put it, "Who will you inspire today? Thanks RB!"
