Mary-Kate Olsen on Heath Ledger

The scrawnier Olsen has landed herself on the cover of US Elle this month — and the girly fash mag decided to ask Mary-Kate about her mysterious relationship with the late Heath Ledger.

When asked about the controversy surrounding the death of the 28-year-old star, she replied simply: "I’m not going to comment on that, I won’t give you a word about that in the nicest way possible. Let’s move on."

Good for her! At least we know some parts of his life are going to remain private!

MK also reveals in the interview that her and Ashley really are still close, although everyone likes to believe they secretly hate each other: "We don’t agree all the time. The way we go about business or designing or making a decision is that we come at it from two completely different angles that at the end of the day, even when we don’t think we’re agreeing with each other, we are agreeing. We’re just getting there in different ways.

"Unless you’re a twin, you honestly can’t know how close twins can be."

I think all the drugs have caught up with her in the pic next to the mag. I used to be like one of their biggest fans. But you know being a star by the age of like 6months to a year old must have been hard and being multi-millionaires by the age of 12. Yup what a hard life they have had.

What the hell....with all that money and she cant afford to look alot better than that. She looks terrible in both! For a celebrity she is not making any big statements, other than not what to look like. And yes I do agree, give the girl a boil up and fry bread!!!

Well I must say you do look good on the mag, little skinny but ok and good on you girlie for not giving in to those reporters about Heath and yourself to me here is a girl who is not in it for the money but just to be herself and that means not her twin sister but her so congrats to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally think she looks a lot better on that cover than she has in anything else she's worn any time recently. At least she looks "fashionable" - instead of the typical bag lady motif she usually sports. I do agree that she'd look much prettier with a bit of meat on her bones. Somebody give the girl a burger!
