Robert Pattinson's musical pub crawl

Robert Pattinson wants the world to know he's not just a pretty face… or just another actor. In fact, he's a pretty-faced actor-slash-musician, who doesn't need a thousand screaming fans to appreciate his craft.

The Twilight hottie has been escaping the pressures of sudden fame by performing impromptu gigs in pubs across England.

We reckon that's pretty good thinking on his part. If you wanted to avoid several thousand obsessed tween-aged fans, a venue that's off-limits to people under 18 is a pretty good place to lay low.

Strumming his guitar and singing from his bar stool, he apparently silenced the room with his surprise performance at one London pub.

The 22-year-old contributed two songs to the Twilight soundtrack and has admitted in the past that a career in music is his "back up plan" if acting doesn't work out.

Sounds like he's doing pretty well at both.

I cant believe I'm actually going to write something on this page but I have to say that his voice gives me goosebumps!! I could listen to him talk for ever and never get bored!! Its sick.

diggory... he was so awesome in harry potter... lol I like his music, although most of his song 'broken' is just guitar. He doesn't start to sing until halfway... then I realised that that song was just 'never think' with extra guitar playing at the start... *random

His music is......Amazing ! there isnt a betta word to describe it no matta what mood your in . listning to his music cheers you up ! i downloaded all his piano music & listn to it b4 i go to sleep . its so relaxing ! i love the songs he did for the movie aswel .. on the cd ! hes going to go far . with both his acting & his music..hes talented at both ! he has my luck xx

It seems like the person who wrote this article is surprised that Rob decided to persue his music career. I thought it was kindof obvious that he would end up doing it, allthough he insisted in interviews that it was going to be 'a last resort' so that he wasn't forever classified as being a one-hit wonder. Good on you, Rob! =]
