Hugh Jackman to host Oscars "drunk and nude"

, Prev Next

Hugh Jackman plans to 'Aussie-up' the Academy Awards tonight when he plays host at the star-studded event.

The actor says he plans to do his job "the Australian way" — which essentially means getting drunk and getting his kit off!

"The way I see it is if I'm not going to have a good time, then how can anyone else have a good time?" Hugh told CNN.

"One of my favourite moments at the Oscars was when the streaker came across David Niven. And we're upping it a level and we're just going to do most of the show naked."

Oh, how we wish he wasn't joking.

Hugh added that he plans to hit the bottle from around nine o'clock this morning to calm his nerves.

It's always good to have an Aussie in charge!

If Hugh did get drunk and naked the oscars might actually be worth watching
