Robert Pattinson headed to New Zealand

Vampire heartthrob Robert Pattinson is headed to our shores to film a new movie, according to reports.

It’s believed the Twilight star could be in New Zealand as early as later this year to film Unbound Captives.

The movie is a $125 million western set in 1859 about Comanche Indians.

A spokesperson for Film New Zealand declined to comment about the movie.

Also starring in the movie will be Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman.

It will be Madeleine Stowe’s directorial debut and is scheduled for release at the end of next year.

Pattinson is believed to be playing one of the stolen children in the film whose mother enlists the help of another man to track them down after they are taken and her husband murdered.

The 23-year-old has become one of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities after scoring the lead role in the Twilight movies.

The second part of the trilogy, New Moon, is released in New Zealand on November 19.

Filming for Unbound Captives will also take place in Mexico.

oh no... i feel people are going to tarnish NZ as a nation of being laid back individuals by becoming stalkers! he gets enough of that mobbing behaviour everywhere else in the world. why can't everyone just be cool and hang back, take it easy, give him a wave and take your pics. no point in smothering the guy and screaming in his face. Who knows, he may be in and out of the country before anyone knows... like most celebrities. Unless you're rockstars like Pearl Jam who go surfing at piha and mingle with the people. now that's cool.

Okay, if you hate twilight, then why do you even bother writing mean comments about it? Bring down thoughs who actually like the books. Try to see it from their P.O.V, if you loved something, wouldnt you go crazy when something awesome happens the involves it? Why do you have to bring down the mood with crap comments like, Omg y do people have to be so obsessed, its such a crap book and movie. i mean i have to agree that twilight was ruined by that chick, and now shes going to ruin Maximum Ride, And yeah the book wasnt written in the best way ever. But the plot is good, and... some of the characters. If youre gonna diss Twilight, make your own site and do it there with other sad people, who have nothing better to do, but to sit around complaining about how twilighters needa get a life. Can we say Hypocrites? okay im running out of character things and i need to actually START my history speech. PEACE! ^^

Omg i cant belive I dont live in New Zealand any more! Why do al the cool things happen when i LEAVE, shesh. Oh please tell me hes going to Auckland! i mean, why would u go anywhere else (joking) But still lollol. Ah i have to tell my best friend to go and glomp him or something^^
