Sarah Jessica Parker is struggling as a working mother

Sarah Jessica Parker has confessed that she is struggling to balance her career with motherhood.

The 44-year-old actress, who is mum to seven-year-old James and baby twins Tabitha and Marion, says that travelling for her acting work has been depriving her of precious time with her children.

"We choose to be mothers, it's complicated. It's a balancing act and I'm sure I'm failing miserably," she told Bang Showbiz.

"I take my son to school and I have two daughters in diapers who are drooling and teething. I just wear what's appropriate to being a mother. Sorry to disappoint you. I'm not Carrie Bradshaw.

"I've travelled a lot without my family. Of course it's horrible but I don't have a choice. It's very challenging.

"I've received numerous photos of the twins in their crib - doing all the things I am meant to be doing with them all day but it is the eternal conflict of every working woman."

Yeah i hear her, but she chose to have these children born for her. She chose them when she'd already signed on the line for a sequel of the sitc movie and knew she'd be working whilst they were doing their growing thing. I don't feel sory for her, so many men have kids and spend their time working while their wives stay home and care for thier kids too. You don't get precious years back, Sarah is lucky, she'll get the chance to be with those girls when they're older. Depends tho on how long movie goers want to see sitc movie sequels and sarah feels obliged to do so lol. Maybe the babies look like their baby mommy and Matthew tho' and nothing like ms parker? oh oh no wonder she has to work.
