Robert Pattinson is officially dating Kristen Stewart — there, we can say it.

In fact, they were meant to appear together as an official couple at the Baftas, but screaming fans meant Rob was forced to cheer on his girlfriend from the audience as Kristen she won the Bafta Rising Star award.

"It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes," the 23-year-old was quoted as saying to The Sun.

"We can't arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it's impossible. We are here together and it's a public event but it's not easy.

"We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention."

There have been whispers the pair were an item since the first Twillight movie in 2008. But Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke reckons it didn't happen till after the film came out.

"In terms of what Kristen told me directly, it didn't happen on the first movie," she said, according to the Daily Mail. "Nothing crossed the line while on the first film.

"I think it took a long time for Kristen to realise, 'OK, I've got to give this a go and really try to be with this person.'"

Catherine said she definitely noticed the googly eyes being made across the movie set, but warned R-Pattz that if he got with the then 17-year-old Kristen, he'd be breaking the law.

"After I cast him, I told Rob, 'Don't even think about having a romance with her. She's under 18. You will be arrested.'"

well..noww Kristen is 20 and Rob is 24. but when they first started filming...Rob was 22 and Kristen was only 17

Oh well. Not a big fan of both in fact i like neither of them but somehow it was just too obvious. It dosent take a rocket scientist ti figure it out. But what is it with the stars that they do these often ? They like get together just after a movie or singing or JUST ABOUT ANYTHING!! EW!!

from the video report I am still not sure that this rumour is now true. I think it was taken out of context. They were meant to arrive as friends but... Because of fans going absolutely crazy when they are both together. I agree with this statement. But there is no denying that it could mean something else as well. So I guess I will still hold judgement and sit on the fence with this added news surrounding the pair.

thats been in the news for YONKS, these guys seriously need to find someone else to write about, becuase personally i am so over RPattz and KStew fever. i all for Taylor, but who give a rats.
