Jessica Simpson says she's stopped worrying about her yo-yoing weight problems since a recent trip to Africa opened her eyes to the many different ways of seeing beauty.

The singer visited Uganda to film a segment for her VH1 program The Price Of Beauty. While there, she was told by locals that she was far too thin to be considered attractive in their culture.

"The men told [friend] CaCee and I that we would have to [gain weight] for them to consider marrying us!" a chuffed Jess tell Us Weekly.

"You want me to eat how many cans of tuna before the wedding?"

Wonder what the Ugandans would say about these girls...
