Bret Michaels slammed for racy Miley song

Bret Michaels refuses to apologise after being slammed for recording a suggestive song featuring Miley Cyrus singing harmonies.

In his new song, 'Nothin' to Lose', the 46-year-old father-of-two sings "We both know better than this; still we can't resist; slowly get undressed." To which 17-going-on-30-year-old Cyrus sings "Yeah she does."

Michaels told Us Weekly magazine he's received 75 texts about the scandal and insists "it's blown out of proportion".

The Rock of Love star said he had originally recorded the song solo but the Hannah Montana star was desperate to sing on it after hearing it while they were re-recording the Poison classic, 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn'.

Michaels does admit he never gave the "lyrical content" a second thought and promised the "slowly get undressed" lyric had no reference to the both of them. "It's not even a duet," Michaels said.

He said nobody advised him against it and all initial reviews were positive for the track set to appear on his solo album, Custom Built, to be released in late May this year.

Really, come on guys get real-- anyone who know Bret (even remotely) knows this is a bunch of ***! He's a real person, a stand up guy that's not afraid to be honest, show his emotions, and continually do the next right to the best of his ability. We have all done things in our past that we wish would of beeen dofferent but Bret has lived life long enough and has enough integrity not to do anything this low!!! Go talk to Justin Timberlake, he'd be up for this type of thing! A forever fan!!!!
