Tom Cruise's confessions mocked at Scientology parties

Scientology leaders held parties where they mocked Tom Cruise and read out transcripts of his private confessions, according to former member of the religion.

Marty Rathbun, who used to be a high-level member of Scientology, claimed on his personal blog that members of the Church secretly recorded Tom while he underwent private counselling.

Transcripts of the tapes were then allegedly brought to meetings where the religion's top leaders would sip whiskey and laugh at the actor's most intimate revelations.

Marty claims that Tom's confessions were secretly recorded under the orders of Scientology leader David Miscavige.

"I audited a number of intensives of confessionals on Tom Cruise from July through November 2001," Marty writes.

"By order of Miscavige many of those sessions were secretly recorded by a well-concealed video camera and voice recorder system built into the VIP auditing room at Celebrity Center International."

Marty wrote that a "very reliable witness" told him that David held meetings where he brought transcripts of the tapes and read them out loud.

"While sipping scotch whiskey at the end of the night, Miscavige would read Tom’s overts and withholds … joking and laughing about the content of Tom’s confessions."

Since defecting from the Church in 2004, Marty has made a career out of providing counselling and auditing services to other former Scientology members.

"Wake up, Tom. It is not too late," he wrote in his blog post.

"Though, time is getting very, very short."

Tom's representatives have not yet commented on the claims.

Get real Tom! Scientology is one of the biggest cons which target the gullibility and egotistism of celebrities drunk on human vanities. Go back to your family and find professional counsellors that are honest and don't hold your pathetic fancies and secrets to ransom.
