Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt dig deep for charity

Superstars Angelina Jolieand Brad Pittearn millions between them - but the socially-conscious couple also donate millions.

Tax records from their Jolie-Pitt Foundation revealed the pair donated a staggering $4.9 million dollars to various charities in 2009 - including the Make It Right Foundation, which Brad founded.

A source close to the couple said: "A lot of celebrities could learn a thing or two from Brad and Angelina. Not only do they give away much of their money, they make sure they do it in the very best way to the neediest causes."

The pair donated $1 million to the United Nations’ Pakistan Emergency Fund, which was established following extreme floods in the country, $700,000 to a children's cancer fund entitled Jane Etta, $480,000 to a town called Joplin in Missouri after it was devastated by a tornado, plus more to good causes in Cambodia, where little Maddox was born.
