Elizabeth Olsen refuses help from millionaire twin sisters

The youngest Olsen is apparently determined to do things her own way, refusing to accept help from her sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley, who are said to be worth $100 million.

According to The Enquirer, 22-year-old Lizzie lives in a rough New York city neighbourhood filled with robberies and drug deals, but has refused her sisters' offer to put her up in a swish apartment.

A source told the paper: "Mary-Kate and Ashley would do anything for Elizabeth — even put her up in a $1 million apartment but she turned down their offer recently and decided to live in a 500-square foot apartment next to a Laundromat in a seedy Lower East Side neighbourhood instead."

"A ton of drug dealers work around here, and it's violent. You have to watch your back. People have guns and they don't mess around. They don't care who they kill," said a local resident.

We're a bit worried about Lizzie but at the same time, mega cudos to the girl for doing her own thing.

Shouldn't be long until she can afford a swish apartment off her own back, anyway. Lizzie's upcoming film, Martha Marcy May Marlene is an Oscars favourite and it hasn't even been released yet!
