Rihanna on verge of meltdown, turns to Beyonce for support

Every time we check in on Rihanna she's sunbaking in a bikini on some tropical island, but apparently the stress of her 101-date world tour is beginning to take its toll – despite the beach breaks and posh cruises between shows.

According to reports, the singer 'went into meltdown' before her Dublin show at the weekend, threatening to cancel the concert because she was so exhausted. (She cancelled a show in Sweden earlier this month when she was hospitalised with the flu)

But it was a tearful phone call to Beyonce that got Rihanna back onstage. Her more experienced friend advised her to finish the tour – she has 16 shows to go – and then take a year off to recuperate.

Not a bad plan if you can afford it!

A source told The Sun, "She's just a young woman who just wants to have fun, but she was feeling pretty low.

"It's a mix of exhaustion and stress. She's been partying hard to take her mind off things, but there are days when she wakes up and doesn't even know where she is because of the travelling.

"It's no wonder she is feeling down."

After the Dublin show Rihanna tweeted: "I'm so light-headed!"
